Who We Are
OneCompassion is a non-profit that strives to Glorify God by impacting and developing people in our community. We've been presented with the opportunity to impact students at Cooper Academy and we are inviting you to apply to be a OneCompassion mentor! As a mentor you will be assigned a student who needs someone to look up to, and you will be with them during their lunch once a week. The mentor program's mission is to provide a positive and nurturing connection to improve personal responsibility and self awareness and establish meaningful relationships to strengthen respect and character of mentees.
What it Requires
Every mentor must go through Starting Point training to get the fundamentals of being an effective mentor at Cooper Academy. After that, you will begin to meet with your mentee on the selected day of your choosing, during your mentee’s lunch time. We will provide quarterly trainings to help equip you as a mentor and leverage your connection with your mentee. More information about the mentor program can be found here:
