OCFest Recap: A Community Coming Together with Purpose

Thank you to everyone who joined us for OCFest on Sunday, October 11, at HopeFront Church in Clayton! We’re grateful for an afternoon spent worshiping together, connecting with our community, and supporting our Holiday Ministry.

With worship led by HopeFront Music, Temple City Worship, and Vertical Worship, the afternoon brought families, friends, churches, and local businesses together to praise Jesus and care for our neighbors. Guests got to enjoy food, shopping, and activities from local vendors before gathering in the sanctuary for worship.

At the heart of it all was an opportunity to help local families experience the love of Christ this Christmas. If you weren’t able to join us or are still considering how to get involved, Holiday Ministry family adoptions are still open!

Thank You for Being Part of OCFest

To our volunteers, thank you for the time and care you poured into this event. From setting up and welcoming guests to helping throughout the afternoon and cleaning up afterward, your work made OCFest possible. We’re grateful for your willingness to serve and the kindness you showed everyone who came through the doors.

Thank you to our vendors for spending the afternoon with us and bringing so much to the event. We loved having local businesses be part of this gathering and appreciate your support of OneCompassion.

We’re also thankful to HopeFront Church for hosting us, to each worship team for leading us, and to everyone who attended, invited a friend, donated, or signed up to adopt a family. Thank you for helping carry the purpose of OCFest beyond one afternoon

There’s Still Time to Be Part of Holiday Ministry

OCFest may be over, but the work of Holiday Ministry is just beginning. This year, OneCompassion will serve 160 families in Johnston County, and we’d love for you to be part of it.

By adopting a family, you can help provide clothing, Christmas gifts, and essential needs while sharing the love of Jesus. Whether you participate individually or alongside your family, church, small group, or coworkers, your support can make a meaningful difference this Christmas.

Visit our Holiday Ministry page to learn more and sign up to adopt a family. We’ll also be sharing volunteer opportunities soon, so stay tuned to our website and social media for more ways to get involved.

Thank you for supporting OneCompassion and helping us care for local families this Christmas!
