Summer at OneCompassion

It has been a busy summer here at OneCompassion. From OneTable meals, to Christmas in July and everyday in between, it has been wonderful and filled with the Holy Spirit. 

God has been so good to us over the last few months. It has been a busy, yet incredible summer.

June OneTable

Each summer, RiverWILD and OneCompassion hire full time interns to learn about the business operations and get hands-on experience. 

At our June OneTable meal, our 15 interns got the opportunity to see what OneTable was all about and serve members of our community. June’s OneTable was hosted at Municipal Park in Clayton, NC. It was a very successful meal - over 400 plates were served. The pizza, watermelon and Sunset Slush were a huge hit, and the interns had a great time serving the community.

Christmas in July

July OneTable

Christmas in July wrapped up within a few days, and it was right back to our monthly OneTable meals. Our July OneTable was held in the PaperCo warehouse and we served over 210 plates. It was “Taco Thursday” with cupcakes made by . Along with the delicious meal, we had a kids arts and crafts table, which was a huge hit for the kids. They got to color fun coloring sheets and meet new friends. 

Our August OneTable will be located at Yelverton Grove OFWB Church on August 21 from 5-7pm. We hope to see you out there!

OC Fest Update

The next big event we have coming up is OC Fest 2025. We announced the date and location of this year's event, which will be October 12, 2025 in Downtown Clayton’s Town Square!
