Volunteer with OneCompassion This Holiday Season

Christmas preparations are underway at OneCompassion, and we’d love for you to join us! Volunteer opportunities are now available for our Holiday Ministry, with a variety of roles, dates, and times to choose from.

Through this ministry, our community comes together to provide clothing, gifts, groceries, and encouragement to 160 families in Johnston County while sharing the love of Jesus. Volunteers help make each step possible, and we’re grateful for every person who gives their time to serve.

Ways You Can Help

There are several ways to lend a hand as we prepare for Christmas:

  • Food organizing: Help unload items from pallets and organize food for packing for all 160 families.

  • Food packing: Help pack bags of food and cleaning necessities for all 160 families.

  • Shopping: Help shop for a family’s clothing, essentials, and Christmas gifts, then meet our team at checkout. OneCompassion will cover the cost of the items.

  • Bin prepping: Help go through each bin, fold clothing, organize items, and check that everything has been purchased and is ready for Delivery Day.

Whether you enjoy shopping or lending a hand behind the scenes, there’s a way for you to be part of this year’s ministry.

Find a Time That Works for You

We know the holiday season gets busy, so we’re offering several dates and times to get involved. Visit our volunteer page to browse the available opportunities and choose a shift that fits your schedule.

Every item sorted, bag packed, and gift chosen helps us care for a local family this Christmas. Thank you for making room in your holiday season to serve our neighbors. We look forward to serving alongside you!
